Ali İhsan Can (Kadir İnanır), 12 Eylül sonrası girdiği davalarda ün yapmış bir avukattır. Ayrıca, sosyal bir demokrat bir partide, ön saflarda görev almış popüler bir halk adamı olan Ali Can, bu yalnız geçen yıllardan sonra doğup büyüdüğü Side`ye döner. Uzun bir süreden beri ayrı yaşadığı karısı da Side`de bir pansiyonda kalmaktadır. Kendisini bekleyen eşi Aytaç`ın (Aytaç Öztuna) bazı sorunları nedeniyle karşılıklı bir sürtüşmeye girerken, Ali Can bu arada da karşılaştığı Su (Sibel Turnagöl) adlı bir kızla ilgilenmeye başlar. Ali Can, geçmiş günlerin getirdiği karmaşa içinde Su, onun için bir `yaz macerası` mı olacaktır, yoksa bu ilişki tutkulu bir aşka mı dönüşecektir.
